Wednesday, December 15th

Today was a long run, so I ran with ben Scammel and Brendan Chu at first. I ran along the Brook Path and Brendan left once we reached the end of it. I continued on the aqueduct and after 16:00 Ben turned back. I went all the way down to the street and followed it back up to the Brook path and returned back to the High School. It took about 42:00 total.

Tuesday, December 14th

Circuits again today, 4 sets. I felt really great today and was able to complete exercises to an extent much further than the previous circuits. I am definitely getting stronger. My knees were hurting today so i had to do situps instead of standing squats, but otherwise I was feeling great.

Monday, December 13th

Today we went to Babson and we did a 1 x 1000, 2 x 800, and 2 x 400. My 1000 was 3:42, my 800s were in the high 2s/low 3s and my 400 times ended up being about a 1:30. It was a pretty good workout but i was sore in my calves and tibialis anteriors afterwards

Saturday, December 12th

Today I ran hill drills with Nina at Kelly field for 20 minutes, which was not as effective as Elm Bank but much more accessible. I ran there and back from my house which turned out to be 15 minutes up and down.

Friday, December 9th

Today I did a fifteen minute warmup and cool down. Feeling really good on the Canadian Sprint Drills today, form is looking good.

Thursday, December 9th

Today we ran flows around the complex. On the first one I got swept up by the crowd and ended up in the front with Christian somehow, which did not help my performance on the rest of the workout. Also, for the record, I absolutely called that it would be a pyramid with the longest run in the middle. You can ask Coach Mark.

Wednesday, December 8th

Today I ran Leafy with Nina for 50 minutes. We would have run longer, but unfortunately we were hindered by indigestion because of our big lunches on the half day. Ian didn't run because his shins were hurting so it was just the two of us. On the way back we stopped by Marathon Sports because I need a pair of running shorts since Coach Chisum called me out on wearing "basketball shorts", even though they were clearly shorts I got free at a Bat Mitzvah.

Tuesday, December 7th

Circuits! I was feeling good today so I did all 4 sets as well as 15 up, but I had to cut my cool down to 10 minutes because I had to run errands before the store closed at 6:00 PM. If anyone was wondering, I made it to the store and got my new tuner/metronome right before it closed.

Monday, December 6th

Today I ran a B run with Nina and Ian. We walked up Maugus Hill and then ran around in centennial park and the country club. We ran for 40 minutes and then Nina abandoned us to run ten more. We then finished up the day with 6 strides on the football field. 'Twas a felicitous afternoon.
