Wednesday, January 19th
Today we did canadians in the science hall as our pre-race workout. Ran 15 up and down, and felt good throughout the workout. Only felt a small pain in my hip flexor after doing drum majors, but it went away quickly.

Today practice was cancelled because of poor conditions, so I completed the workout I missed on Monday (because I was visiting grandparents) on my treadmill and ran 4 200s at mile pace (43 seconds), 4 200s at 800 pace (38 seconds) and 4 200s at 400 pace (36 seconds).

Today was a long run after the meet, and I ran 30 minutes with Nina Sevilla, Chris Lu, and Turner Russel. Was going to run 90, but had to run 30 more minutes inside, do strides, and leave so I could make it to work by 5PM.

Thursday, January 13th
Race Day yet again. Ran the mile for the first time in my life and actually felt good. Due to a counting error, I lost track of what lap I was on and timed my kick incorrectly. Nevertheless, I ran a 5:56 which is a good start. 15 up and then cooled down with Andrew Griswold and John Williamson on the Longwood Loop. Who knew so many hospitals and colleges could be in such close proximity!

SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Didn't run, but figured sledding counted as hills.
Tuesday, January 11th
Today was a tough workout at Babson which consisted of 8 200s interrupted by a jogged 400 between each sprint. My times were very consistent: 34, 34, 34, 34, 35, 34, 34, 33. I felt really good and was running as fast or faster than all of the others there. 15 up and 15 down, naturally.

B run today with Joseph Mears, Ben Griswold, and Turner Russel on Blue Arrow trail. Athough I would rather not run Blue Arrow trail so many times in such a short span, I discovered that the freshman only knew one trail (Waban) and felt the need to enlighten them. It was a good 46:00 run and could have been longer but they were all recovering from the Freshman/Sophomore meet on Sunday (which I regrettably missed due to an all day church retreat). We finished with six strides in the parking lot.
